Is Cheaper Better?

Is cheaper better?

One of the most common mistakes made by people who rent limousines is the quest for the cheapest price. All too often have they fell prey to the limousine outfits who pride themselves on the "cheap reputation". Does the word "cheap" fit anywhere next to the word "diamond" or "caviar" or "luxury".Then why in the world should it be paired with "Limousines". When you book a cheap limousine chances are your getting what you paid for.

Not all limos are created equally.

If it interests you to get a 10 passenger limousine at an hourly rate of $45.00 per hour chances are, if you look hard enough you will find it. Just pick up the phone and call away. Eventually you will find a service willing to offer you this knockout rate. Now be wary and not surprised when, A)Your vehicle looks rather old and your driver is dressed in a jump suit. B) You get pulled over and the driver has no limousine insurance. C) You get a call the day before from your limousine service provider informing you that he can not make your wedding due to some freak circumstance, truth being he found a customer to pay a higher price and has thus sold you out.

Fair Market Value

The best advice I can offer is to research the market for the limousine you are interested in. Find out the general market value for the limousine you need and then get pricing from several companies. Ask questions such as what year are the limousines, are the drivers properly dressed in a suit and tie or tuxedo. What amenities are included with the price you are getting. Is there a time and a place you can arrange to see the vehicle, or if the service provider can e-mail you some pictures or if they have a web site. Don't bargain, most limousine outfits don't want to spend time on the phone trying to strike a deal, explain to them your budget and see if they are willing to work with you. Would it be more to your advantage to pay an extra $5 per hour more for a brand new limousine or $10 less per hour for a model 2 years old, this is a judgement call on your behalf and both may work out perfectly. If you find a deal for $45 and hour for that 10 passenger limousine, get a contract and set an appointment to see the limousine. Remember you get what you pay for!
